What Is A Record Label?


A record label is a brand associated with the marketing of songs and music videos. a record label often is also a publishing company that manages such brands and trademarks. they are also involved with the coordinating of  the production, manufacture, distribution, marketing, promotion, and enforcement of copyright for sound recordings and music videos. However they are most known for conducting talent scouts to develop  new and upcoming artists and maintain contracts with recording artists and their managers.

Furthermore many big artists begin their career in a minor/independent record labelthis is due to the fact that the the artists are given more artistic freedom and independence they have more freedom to do what they want with their music videos and with their image and prescence.
