This was our initial brainstorm of what genre of music we was going to use and what our image would look like. We first all new that we are fans of the hip hop genre however only some of us liked hip hop groups which is what we wanted as we wanted our music video to be a group effort.
However we looked up the hip hop techniques that where used to video a rap video therefore on our brainstorm we wrote that we would use a lot of close ups of the group and a lot of powerful images.
We also looked at other rap groups such as the wu tang clan, Public enemy and NWA so that we create an image that we wanted which also fit the codes and conventions of a typical hip hop group. The clothing we decided on would be hoodies gold chains and baggy clothing. The colour tones of out image would be very dark and gritty as we wanted a song that could be constructed into a short film type of music video. However this did not work out as we felt that we could not portray the 'bad boy' image that we wanted.
