The five key aspects of Andrew Goodwins theory are:

Thought Beats, Seeing The sound, Narrative and Performance, The star Image, Relations of visuals to song and Technical aspects.

Thought Beats

Thought beat means looking into and actually listening to the song and breaking down the structure of of it.

it also looks at the voice of the singer in the song such as if there voice is unique and creates a form of identification for that artist and if there trademarks work well with there stair image.

Thought beats also points out if the song or music video is telling a story therefore making the artist a storyteller and yet making the music video a communication of two, visually and through listening.

Relationship Between Lyrics and Visuals

with the use of micro features such as cinematography and mise-en scene in the music video to convey they lyrics in a certain way or match the lyrics with what is shown on screen.

Relationship Between the Music and Visuals 

The relationship between the music and visuals consists by using the micro feature of editing to match the rhythm and pace of the song matching cuts and affects to precise drum beats or notes.

Notion of 'Looking'

The notion of  looking is where the cinematography puts the audience in a certain position of which you have too look.

Band Logo

On deciding what the band logo would look like we decided that it would have to show our rebellious (rogue) image we originally though of putting the title of the band in between the finger wholes of a knuckle duster however as we started to make this on photoshop it didn't feel right. This then led us to stumble on a picture of bars with two fists. Because of this i decided to ad that to the title to the image and we felt as if it fit perfectly.

Tyler The Creator- Digipak Script

The Digipak i am analysing is GOBLIN by tyler the creator. This digipak was realeased may 10th 2011 and was produced by XL Recordings. The front of the digipak consists of a black and white image of tyler the creator with black contact lenses in, This is very obscure for a cover of a rap artist but yet it shows tyler the creators excentric image.  

inside of the digipak there is a booklet which has a picture of tyler the creator with his distincitive style of shorts with vans and socks pulled up to his knees with a goblin mask, this contributes to the name of the digipack which is goblin. 

The case inside the digipak has a tattoo of a womens leg that has golf wang written on it which is also the name of his rap wolf gang spelt backwards. This also shows his crazy image and how unconventional his rap style is compared to other artists.This runs parrell with the fact that he talks about being wierd and also talks about women. 

Two discs are also involvedin the digipak. One with bonus features the other with the actuall soundtrack however on the disc there is a picture of  a sad ginger kid that represents his songs as always talks about how he feels like a sad ginger kid although he is a black male.

A record label is a brand associated with the marketing of songs and music videos. a record label often is also a publishing company that manages such brands and trademarks. they are also involved with the coordinating of  the production, manufacture, distribution, marketing, promotion, and enforcement of copyright for sound recordings and music videos. However they are most known for conducting talent scouts to develop  new and upcoming artists and maintain contracts with recording artists and their managers.
